Primary School Program

Vasishta School of Excellence (VSE) has a unique education model that revolves around inquiry-based learning through the ‘4i’ approach. 4i stands for inquiry, ignite, inspire, and innovate which access four pillars on the foundation for holistic development of a child through ‘4i’. By holistic growth, we mean the physical, intellectual, cognitive, emotional, and social development of a student. At our primary school, curriculum and approach are integrated and intertwined in a manner that the students appreciate different perspectives and attain balance in life, thus making it one of the best This is the age for building strong basics to use in higher education hence the program aims at developing a reflective thinking approach to come up with solutions through critical thinking and reasoning. Transdisciplinary ‘4i’ curriculum paves the way for the children to achieve this objective. Open-mindedness, character and adaptability are the traits the students learn during these ages. Participation of students in this learning model through inquiry is the centre of planning. Receptive and productive skills in languages, basics in subjects, creativity and imagination are part of the day-to-day transactions. Learning objectives will be applied in daily life, and experiences to understand and apply better development of skills like observation, report, discussion, expression, explanation, clarification classification, questioning, analysis, and experimentation concerned with citizens’ Justice, equality, cooperation or development during this age. All these learning engagements are planned in the primary school of Varthur classrooms through pedagogical methods.

Infrastructure Design of our Primary School Section for Students

The infrastructure of our best primary school has been meticulously designed to invite students to develop their creative abilities, talent, and critical thinking. This is encouraged through hands-on learning or project-based materials or equipment. At Vasishta students receive formal school education alongside preparation for National Level Olympiads which helps them lay the foundation for any entrance exam he/she will appear for in the coming years.

Embracing Robotics and Coding in Education!!

Coding is essentially written instructions that a robot or computer program can read and then execute. Students must determine the task they want to complete through a robot, design the code to make it happen, and then send it to the robot to view the outcome. Robotics allows students to see their thinking in a real way as they go through trial and error until the task is accomplished and the robot’s motions are performed as originally intended. Perseverance through struggle, problem-solving, a sense of agency, and collaboration (when working in pairs) are all encouraged, fostered, and achieved through such projects. The students of Vasishta School of Excellence have begun their coding exposure by laying a foundation for understanding that failure and frustration are a part of the creativity and exploration process.

Equal Importance to Extracurricular Activities

The priority of our primary school section is to focus on your child’s extracurricular interests which give a push to their self-esteem and confidence. It allows students to follow their passion and nurture a new skill. The improved levels of self-esteem can provide confidence for better expressing their thoughts and forming opinions.
